Mended Little Hearts Bravery Bag Program
“We got a Bravery Bag from Mended Little Hearts when our child was in the hospital for his first heart surgery. We were so scared, and we had forgotten to pack a few things, but there they were in the Bravery Bag. It made me cry. I was so thankful that there were other parents out there who understood what we were going through.”
What Is a Bravery Bag?
A Bravery Bag is a bag full of toiletry items, comfort items, fun items and educational resources that we provide to the families while they are in the hospital with their child. Bravery Bags are full of items to make the family’s hospital stay easier, but mostly to let them know they are not alone—that someone understands them and cares about them.
We need your help to make sure every family gets a Bravery Bag
With your help, we can send a bag full of items families need in the hospital, including comfort items, toiletry items, a Courageous Heart Token and even an adorable stuffed lion. If you would like to contribute to our Bravery Bags, let us know! Below are items that you can donate.
